Hello Reader My kids sometimes say to me, mummy you have so many "jobs." It is not that they think I do too much, but it is the fact that they know that I wear multiple hats. If anything, it shows them that I do not have to follow the "norm" with one title and that I can do multiple things all at once. At the end of the day, I follow my passion and purpose in life. Many people cannot even keep up with "what I am up to these days." Therefore, I have spent a lot of time recently thinking about how I can best share what I do with you. Between my clinical work with nutrition clients and my new roles as a PhD student and Nutrition Lecturer, I have realised that I am, as always, in a very unique position. On one hand, I now reside within the world of academic research; on the other, I am helping people with managing their health conditions such as diabetes, ulcerative colitis or PCOS. One of the reasons I took a brief break from sending newsletters was that I wanted to bring my different worlds together. I want to bring the insights from academia and clinic directly to you, but in a way that is simple, actionable, and rooted in the Ayurvedic wisdom that we all value. To reflect this shift, I would like to introduce to you this new newsletter - Health Perspective with Varsha. My goal is to give you exactly what the title states. A perspective that you will not find anywhere else. One that balances Nutrition and Ayurveda for balanced health. I want to help you reclaim your wellbeing without the overwhelm. Also, research shows that I will be one of the pioneers in bridging the scientific gap between Nutrition and Ayurveda and you get to be a part of that journey. Now, I have even more to share! For those who want to go deeper than this weekly newsletter, I have officially opened the doors to Varsha’s Health Journal. This is my paid membership space where I share specific, evidence-based information or protocols and the "how-to" behind the science. We actually kicked things off this past Monday with the first newsletter for existing subscribers: "Relighting the fire without the sugar crash." (Holistically Healthy Members are automatically a part of this membership, so need to re-subscribe!). We are just getting started with a dedicated series on Metabolic Health for Women. If you are tired of the guesswork and want a structured, expert-led path to balancing your energy and hormones, I’d love to have you join us.
As I continue with clinical work and research, I want to make sure I am addressing the hurdles that you are actually facing. What is the #1 health struggle you are navigating right now? Whether it is fatigue, managing PCOS symptoms, or just trying to find a "simplified" approach to your nutrition, just hit reply button and let me know. I read every response, and your feedback directly shapes the perspectives I share here and the protocols I build in the Journal. I am looking forward to this next chapter with you. It is great to have you on board. Health & Happiness, Varsha P.S. With Varsha's Health Journal, there are no repeats - so once the newsletter has been sent, it will not be sent again. Sign up today before you miss another edition.

Hello Reader When it came to choosing a research topic, everyone assumed that I would have chosen something to do with digestive health. It made sense as it is a core part of my clinical practice. However, PhD-level research requires you to identify a genuine gap in science, a place where the current understanding is failing people. I knew I wanted to bridge the gap between Modern Nutrition and Ayurveda, which has been a focus of mine for nearly two decades. So, I started thinking about my...
Nutrition Consultation Free Resources Buy My Book Join Membership Hello Reader Have you seen the advert about how Nurofen is committed to "closing the gender pain gap by making women's pain more visible in healthcare"? Have you heard about the case of the unfair dismissal of a woman who was suffering through endometriosis? Did you also know that until the 1990s, women were largely excluded from clinical trials in the United States? And even today, much of the "standard" nutritional advice we...
Hello Reader Within my clinical work as a nutritionist and diabetes coach as well as my research and academia life, I see a recurring pattern that actually breaks my heart. It often starts with a scroll through social media. You see the posts: "Do these 10 things daily to be unrecognisable in a month." "Eat these 12 'superfoods' to fix your PCOS in 10 days." "The 7-step morning routine for perfect metabolic health." This is what I call the "Optimisation Trap." Don’t get me wrong. As a...
